NOTES ON THE NEW ARGENTINE CIVIL AND COMMERCIAL CODE

This paper presents a series of reflections on the recent codification process followed by Private Law in Argentina. The ancient legal tradition lives in Private Law, the material amplitude of which is huge. Therefore, in order to acknowledge the extent of formal regulation interventions in such an expensive filament of culture, extra precautions should be taken when implementing modifications. Furthermore, the work of Velez Sarsfield is a paradigm that has not exhausted yet. On the other hand, it is possible that civil and commercial unification may result extemporaneous in front of the neoconstitutional pose.
