CONTROL STRATEGY DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF TILTROTOR AIRCRAFT DURING TRANSIENT PROCESS

摘要
This paper designed an unmanned vehicle (UAV) which has the capability of dual mode flight, of vertical take-off and landing, of hovering and flight straight with high speed. This UAV can switch from take-off in vertical take-off and landing mode to high-speed flight in fixed wings mode. The tiltrotor UAV designed in this paper adopts Y-type layout which can improve the use efficiency of rotor while maintaining the control of precision. After the mathematic model was established, the control strategy of tiltrotor UAV hover and transient process is designed by using the classic Proportion integration differentiation (PID) control program. This paper is ended by simulating in Simulink and verified the effectiveness of the transient process control program.
