The Performance of Three Strawberry Varieties on Phenological Period and Quality in Hanyuan County

In this experiment, 'Benihoppe' 'Zhang Ji' and 'Ning Yu' were used as experimental material, to observe the plant morphology, record the phenological period, investigate the disease situation and determine the quality of strawberry fruit and other indicators and related analysis. Hoping to select a good fruit-type strawberry varieties adapted to the characteristics of Han yuan climate. The result showed that the growth of Benihoppe and Zhang Ji were stronger than Ning Yu, the phenological period of Ning Yu is five days longer than the Benihoppe and Zhang Ji. Ning Yu most highly resistant to the two diseases, followed by Zhang Ji, Benihoppe is the last. In the quality of the fruit, the Benihoppe has the highest average weight and soluble solids. There was no significant difference between Zhang Ji and Ning Yu. However, consumers prefer the Benihoppe, so it is recommended to strengthen the promotion and cultivation of Benihoppe in Han yuan area.
