Modeling and Parameter Analysis for I/V Droop Based Control Strategy for Island Microgrids

摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive modeling and parameter analysis of I/V droop based control strategy for island microgrids, enabling each converter to output the synchronous currents to achieve a better power-sharing performance and avoid the frequency stability problem. This control strategy consists of one-order filter, I/V droop and current control loop. The state space model of AC microgrid consisting of the physical circuits and control system is established. Then, the effect of control parameters on the stability of the system is analyzed by calculating the eigenvalue locus of the closed-loop system. Further, the influence of control parameters on the transient voltage amplitude is analyzed by calculating the state space model. Simulation results using MATLAB/Simulink are presented to verify the validity of the analysis.
