摘要
The PolyNano summer school 2014 took place during two scheduled course weeks, between the 18 and 29 of August, and was held at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) Nanotech, the Danish research institute of microand nanotechnology. DTU is situated in a unique city surrounded by beautiful nature and scenery, Kongens Lyngby, just ten kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark, where it moved from 1962 and was inaugurated in 1974, even though it was founded long before in 1829 by the man who discovered Electromagnetism, Hans Christian Ørsted. Today, DTU is ranked among Europe's leading engineering institutions, and the best engineering university in the Nordic countries. The microand nanotechnology department of DTU is dedicated to conducting research, education and innovation within the field of microand nanotechnology at the highest international level, exploiting sciences across the traditional boundaries of technology within the biomedical, life sciences, environment, energy, security and sensor areas. DTU Nanotech also has access to DTU Danchip, the National Center for Microand Nanofabrication in Denmark, with state of the art cleanroom facilities on a global level, thus providing it with a distinguished position within the international and Danish microand nanotechnology educational and technological scene.
