Synchronization of Hyperchaotic Rossler System using Backstepping and Sliding Mode Control

A transformed fourth order Rossler system has been introduced in this system. The original Rossler 4th order system has been transformed into a strict feedback form to make use of the backstepping control technique. Along with the backstepping technique, sliding mode control (SMC) technique is also used to synchronize the two Rossler 4th order system. Here, system considered is a hyperchaotic system which is synchronizes as well as stabilize the Rossler 4th order system. Error dynamics of the system are reduced by backstepping and sliding mode control methods. Numerical simulations are carried out to verify the efficacy of the derived controllers.
