Research on Video Monitoring Method for Switching Status of Switch Cabinet Breaker

This paper studies the method for judging the separation and closing state of the switch of the switchgear based on video measurement technology, which implements the corresponding observing system. The method obtains the position information by collecting and analyzing the image during the movement of the handcart, and then judges the opening and closing state of the switch of the switchgear circuit breaker. This method eliminates the need to install any sensors on the handcart/contact, which is safe, reliable and easy to operate. At the same time, the high-performance hardware circuit image analysis algorithm can obtain the position information of the handcart in real time, and assist the operator to understand the working state of the switch cabinet at the first time. The technology can reliably improve the comprehensive technology of device status verification and judgment, improve the reliability of the existing switchgear sequence control operation technology, and make it possible to apply one-button sequence control operation. It also can reduce the workload of on-site operation, improve operation and maintenance efficiency, and reduce personal safety risk.
