摘要
Wind turbine (WT) detection is facing the challenge of providing valid data sensing and transmission automatically. In this paper, a mobile edge computing (MEC) driven unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) routine inspection system is proposed, in which the UAV not only detects multiple WTs, but also provides computing service as MEC server or offloads the task to the ground station. In order to minimize the UAV energy consumption, we jointly optimize the UAV trajectory and computation operations, while guaranteeing the data accuracy. To overcome the influence of wind on UAV trajectory planning, a low complexity WT routine inspection trajectory is first designed. Then, we present an optimization problem to minimize the computation processing energy consumption by finding the optimal offloading locations and computation parameters. Finally, numerical results show that the proposed methods can effectively improve the UAV routine inspection system efficiency.
