Development of heart failure in asymptomatic patients with Bendopnea

A new symptom of heart failure (HF) has been described in recent years, that is being called bendopnea [ [1] Thibodeau J.T. Turer A.T. Gualano S.K. Ayers C.R. Velez-Martinez M. Mishkin J.D. et al. This type of dyspnea is experienced while bending forward when putting on shoes or tying them up within the first 30 s. In addition to being very prevalent in these patients (between 28 and 48.8%), it is a short term predictor of readmission in stable HF and mortality in decompensated HF [ [2] Baeza-Trinidad R.
