Data-Driven Model-Free Adaptive Control Of High Power Converters In Super-Large-Scale Energy Storage Station

A data-driven control method is proposed in super-large-scale energy storage station. This control strategy is embedded in power converter and can solve the serious parallel control problems. that is, the output voltage amplitude, phase angle and frequency may be different due to their model mismatch and unknown dynamics, when high power converters are connected in parallel. Based on the model free adaptive control algorithm. the data-driven controller is designed in high power converter system. The parallel power converter system is dynamically linearized by introducing the pseudo partial derivative. In order to keep that output voltage amplitude, frequency and phase of each power converters are equal at the point of common connection in super-large-scale energy storage station, the control parameters of power converter are updated through the input and output data acquired in real time, when the parallel power converters is running. The simulation results show that the model free adaptive algorithm of power converter is effective in super-large-scale energy storage station.
