Model for Calculating the Target Characteristics of Synchronous Scanning Circumferential Pulsed Laser Detector

The circumferential laser detector with directional action device can realize highly effective aimed damage, the optimal controlling time and controlling direction cannot achieve high accuracy, if they are usually calculated only according to the azimuth and distance information of a single measurement. On the other hand, laser detector cannot distinguish the authenticity of the target and easily to misinterpret the function. Based on the working principle of synchronous scanning circumferential pulsed laser detector, several detection points and their position coordinates in the process of object target crossing are analyzed. And according to the distance and azimuth information of each detection point, the target velocity model based on multiple detection points is established, which can calculate the target velocity and distinguish the authenticity of the target. Based on the target velocity model, the optimal controlling model based on multiple detection points is established. The optimal controlling time and the optimal controlling position can be solved by the equations, and the optimal damage efficiency can be obtained. The mathematical model is proved through a numerical example. The research can provide a reference for the optimization of the performance of the synchronous scanning circumferential pulsed laser detector.
