Robot d’évacuation du fumier: qualité du nettoyage et comportement des animaux

MultipleL’utilisation de robots d’evacuation du fumier dans les aires d’exercice perforees n’est pas encore tres repandue. Il n’existe pas non plus de recommandations d’utilisation scientifiquement fondees. Un essai avec le robot d’evacuation Discovery (Lely) a ete realise avec differentes frequences de nettoyage et a permis de relever l’etat de salete des surfaces et le comportement des vaches avec des aires d’exercice perforees. La variante avec une frequence de nettoyage optimisee a apporte une amelioration en ce qui concerne le niveau de souillure des surfaces et la formation de couches grasses par rapport aux variantes sans evacuation du fumier a l’aide du robot ou avec peu d’evacuation. La pulverisation d’eau, integree au robot, a permis de reduire considerablement la formation de couches grasses. Bien qu’une interruption des repas ait ete observee lorsque les voies d’evacuation du fumier longent directement le cornadis, la difference entre les vaches qui mangeaient avec et sans robot etait relativement faible. Par ailleurs, les vaches retournaient generalement a leur place d’alimentation juste apres l’incident. Les essais ont montre que lors du nettoyage des aires d’exercice perforees, un robot d’evacuation du fumier avec une fonction de pulverisation d’eau est obligatoire pour venir a bout de la salete. EnglishThe use of dung-removal robots on perforated flooring has not been widespread to date. Moreover, scientifically substantiated recommendations for their operation are lacking. In an experiment involving different cleaning frequencies with the Lely Discovery Mobile Barn Cleaner, floor soiling and the behaviour of the cows on perforated flooring were ascertained. The variant with an optimised cleaning frequency showed an improvement vis-a-vis the variants without, or with reduced, robot dung removal in terms of height of soiling and smear-layer formation on the flooring. The water-spray function enabled a significant reduction in the formation of smear layers. Although an interruption in feeding was observed in the case of dung-removal routes right at the feeding barrier, the difference between the feeding cows with and without robot operation was comparatively slight, and the cows generally returned to the feeding place after the disruption. The trials showed that the use of a dung-removal robot with a water-spray function is indispensable for the proper removal of soiling from perforated flooring. italianoL‘impiego di asportatori mobili di deiezioni su pavimenti perforati e poco diffuso finora. In un test eseguito con l‘asportatore mobile di deiezioni Discovery (Lely) a diversi intervalli di pulizia, sono stati rilevati il grado di sporcizia dei pavimenti e il comportamento delle vacche su pavimenti perforati. Nella variante con un intervallo di pulizia ottimale si e osservato un miglioramento rispetto alle altre varianti che non prevedono, se non in modo limitato, l‘impiego di asportatori mobili di deiezioni per quanto riguarda il grado di sporcizia e la scivolosita dei pavimenti. Grazie alla funzione ad acqua spruzzata la scivolosita dei pavimenti ha potuto essere ridotta in maniera significativa. Durante il passaggio dell‘asportatore mobile nelle immediate vicinanze della mangiatoia si e osservato che alcuni animali smettevano di foraggiarsi, tuttavia questo comportamento e riscontrabile anche quando non si usa l’asportatore mobile e comunque le vacche riprendevano subito a mangiare. I test hanno dimostrato che l‘impiego di un asportatore mobile di deiezioni con funzione ad acqua spruzzata e assolutamente indicato per pulire e rimuovere lo sporco dai pavimenti perforati.
