摘要
•DFIG control at high wind speeds has become an important issue.•FOPI is applied in pitch angle compensation loop to enhance the DFIG performance.•Different of faults are considered to evaluate the performance of proposed method.•Applying this method enhances DFIG performance in symmetrical/asymmetrical faults.•Simulation was carried out on test system and results validated damping improvement.
