Delay integral sliding mode control design of T-S fuzzy stochastic descriptor systems

This paper investigates the delay effects on the integral sliding mode control problems of T-S fuzzy stochastic descriptor systems. A new sliding surface involving an artificial delay is defined. The resulting closed-loop system is a T-S fuzzy stochastic descriptor time-delay system whose dynamics can be regulated by the introduced delay. The restrictive assumption previously employed in the sliding mode control for stochastic systems is also removed. It shows that the integral sliding mode control problems can be handled for a much wider class of T-S fuzzy stochastic descriptor systems when a proper delay term is included in the sliding surface. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results proposed.
