Precise Regulation for Micro-Turbine in a Microgrid via Higher Order Sliding Modes and Domination Control Approach

A composite control approach to realize the exact speed trajectory tracking for the single shaft Micro-Turbine (MT) system is presented in this paper. The composite controller is developed by integrating a higher-order sliding mode observer and a feedback domination technique. By means of the proposed method, asymptotic stability of the MT system can be ensured even in the presence of mismatched disturbances. At last, by numerical simulations, we illustrate that how this promising composite controller is feasible for the practical nonlinear MT system to realize the exact tracking, rather than a practical tracking objective.
