Resident Security System for Government/Industry Owned Computers

The use of government and industry computers is restricted regarding their access, software applications, operations, and auxiliary hardware. Nevertheless, such computers are often subjected to cyber-attacks and unauthorized usage, whether malicious or benign. The technology outlined herein provides a resident security system that upon deployment detects, registers, and reports instances of computer misuse, thus providing early detection of malware and functioning as a deterrent for computer criminals/misusers. This technology is based on behavioral profiling of computer operation. Developed under the USAF funding, it has been implemented and tested.
