A study on the impact of online takeout based on the Baidu index on the management of university cafeteria

In recent years, a new catering force "online takeout " suddenly rises. It has brought great challenges to the traditional catering, likewise restaurants in universities which have also been a certain degree of influence. In this paper, Baidu index is used to represent the factor of "online takeout ", in order to analyze and demonstrate the impact of online takeout on the management of the university cafeteria. Taking Shanghai Jiao Tong University student consumption data in 2014–2015 academic years as the object of analysis, and taking online takeout, cyclical factors these two types of factors as input variables, we use BP neural network arithmetic to predict the cafeteria sales. This paper confirmed the online takeaway is indeed an important factor affecting college catering management by comparing the prediction model with the network that removed the prediction variables of "online takeaway".
