摘要
•Mixed bakery waste was used to produce l-lactic acid in non-sterilized conditions.•Hydrolysis by fungal mashes produced nutrition-rich hydrolysate feedstock.•A simple medium with four chemicals was established for lactic acid production.•An adaptive evolved LA1002-G40 strain produced 78.4g/L of lactic acid from mixed bakery waste.
