摘要
Effects of test-defined anxiety and instruction-induced stress on verbal mediation were investigated in 58 fifth grade children, under the expectation that increases in drive level would enhance both mediated facilitation and interference. Both facilitation and interference were obtained, but anxiety and stress tended to increase errors on all types of word pairs, including non-mediational control pairs.
