Notice of Retraction After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE's Publication Principles. We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper. The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org. In order to research the characteristics of source-separated urine, this study used HACH HydroLab DS5X as a online monitor and took pH, DO, SpCond, and ORP as parameters. In the period of storage, the urine pH rose to the stable level of 9.0 from initial 6.7 due to urea-hydrolysis. With natural oxygen transfer, few DO existed in the urine (less than 0.14 mg/L). SpCond rose to the maximum 30 mS/cm gently, then dropped to stable level 3.4 mS/cm greatly according to the ions transformation such as NH4+, HPO42- and HCO3-. ORP dropped from 9mv to -430mv with the reduction of oxidizing substances. In contrast to the direct measurement of N and P in the source-separated urine, the online parameters monitoring could be the simple and fast way to indicate the feature changes during urine storage, which can also be used for the nutrients recycle and the precipitation control.
