Extraction of Demand Response Features of Industrial Typical Customers

Accurate extraction of demand response (DR) features of industrial typical customers is the premise to evaluate customers' DR potential. Existing DR features extraction methods ignore the differences in different time periods, which reduces the accuracy of the DR potential evaluation results. Given this background, an extraction method of DR features of industrial typical customers based on integrated empirical mode decomposition is proposed in this paper. Firstly, industrial typical customers are identified, and a method for decomposing the typical load sequence based on integrated empirical mode decomposition is proposed, which lay the foundation for extracting the DR features. Then, DR features of industrial typical customers are extracted based on the decomposition results. Finally, case studies on 263 invited DR customers show that the proposed method can effectively characterize industrial customers' DR features.
