Th e n at u r al freq u e n c ies an d m o d al sh ap es of t h e p u m p are com p u t ed t o ch eck if t h e st at ic eq u ivalent load m e t h o d can b e u sed for t h e seism ic analysis addressed in the future work. In addition, the stress analysis for the accessories of the pump, namely flanges and bolts, are also shown in the paper.
