摘要
1.1. Extracellular suction electrodes on the glandular lobe of the corpus cardiacum (CC-G) picked up spontaneously active units.2.2. In isolated CC, stimulation of the nervus corporis cardiaci 1 (nccl) did not elicit a compound action potential (CAP) for all electrode settings. An inhibition of some active units was only seen if, in the same recording, a CAP was recorded.3.3. Stimulation of ncc2 always induced a CAP and, in addition, sometimes either inhibition or excitation of already spontaneously active units was seen; also excitation of, thus far, silent units could be observed.4.4. Administration of octopamine, in concentrations which induces release of the adipokinetic hormone, was without any effect on the spontaneous activity.5.5. It is concluded that a local neuronal network, and not the glandular cells, is responsible for the electrical activity. Stimulation of ncc can influence this network and may thus have a modulatory function on the release of adipokinetic hormone.
