By profession I am a wheat and barley breeder. Developed 15 wheat and 5 barley high yielding disease resistant varieties suitable for Northern Hills Zone of India. Associated with identification of two novel yellow rust resistant genes Yr66 and Yr67 in wheat variety VL Gehun 892. Major emphasis has been on utilization of winter and facultative wheat germplasm for the improvement of spring wheat. At present holding the position of a research manager along with researcher.
