Roshan Kumar Singh

Roshan Kumar Singh is currently working as a Project Scientist in DBT-funded project at National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi, India. He has earned his undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Botany from University of Calcutta, and his doctorate from National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), New Delhi. In his research career, Roshan is focusing on deploying integrated omics technologies for genetic improvement of crop species and has published several articles in journals of international repute. In view of his excellent doctoral research contributions, he has been awarded with Jawaharlal Nehru Award for P.G. Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research 2021 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Gov. of India.
