Bio
My primary research interest is to understand plant evolution (domestication, genome duplication, hybridization, and adaptation) through transcriptomics of crop plants under abiotic stresses.
My bioinformatics pipelines include 1) utilizing short-read (Illumina - RNA-Seq) and long-read (PacBio - Iso-Seq) transcriptome libraries, 2) identifying differentially expressed and spliced genes via statistical model analyses, and 3) identifying gene co-expression network modules.
