Development and Application of Transformer (Reactor) Active Defense Device

Aiming at the problem that large transformers cause deflagration during insulation breakdown, endangering equipment and personal safety, an active defense device based on online monitoring sensing was developed. The original partial discharge signal is collected by the high-frequency current sensor, ultrasonic sensor and ultra-high-frequency sensor, and the active defense logic operation is carried out after signal processing such as denoising and synchronization to realize the identification of the discharge development stage, so as to give the corresponding level of alarm, and if necessary, the transformer non-power protection trip circuit breaker. The results show that the device can correctly identify the discharge development stage according to the partial discharge data, give the correct level of alarm signal, and issue a protective trip signal before the insulation breakdown, effectively prevent the occurrence of transformer deflagration accident, and no false alarm occurs under the common interference signal of the substation.
