Deadbeat Control with Parameter Identification for Extended Phase-Shift Based DAB Converter

The deadbeat control with single phase-shift (SPS) modulation has been applied in dual active bridge (DAB) converter to achieve effective voltage control. However, SPS modulation has only one control freedom, which leads to a decline of control performance. Meanwhile, the series inductor and output capacitor in the DAB converter may slightly change, which inevitably influences the output voltage performance of deadbeat control. To overcome above limitations, this paper proposes a parameter identification-based deadbeat control under EPS modulation for DAB converter, where the series inductor and output capacitor are identified to eliminate parametric effect on deadbeat control. The feasibility of the proposed control method is showed by theoretical analysis and simulation.
