Abstract
We present the first 125 mu m outer diameter hollow-core fibre with a 10.6 mu m mode-field diameter allowing direct low-loss splicing to G652 SMF. We demonstrate O-to-C-band transmission and bend-insensitive single-mode operation, attractive for low-latency sub-1km communications. (c) 2024 The Author(s)
