Distribution Network Fault Recovery Method Considering Demand-Side Response Participation

The traditional recovery methods of distribution networks may have inflexible scheduling and insufficient power output, limiting the recovery effect, which calls for dispatching other resources from non-grid entities to participate in fault recovery. However, the output of these resources may be affected by external factors, or the decision of resource owners due to their own subjective reasons, which brings uncertainty to the grid restoration. Aiming at improving restoration quality and reducing uncertainty in restoration, the grid is required to assess the credibility of power resources with dispatch potential. In this paper, uncertainty is divided into objective one and subjective one. For the latter, a calculation method of user's credit value is proposed based on the evaluation of historical behavior records and the establishment of user behavior data table. Gaussian mixture model (GMM) and chance constrained programming are introduced to model the uncertainty of different power output and to describe the response capability.
