摘要
Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a rare histiocytic disorder with an unclear etiology and commonly presents with painless, bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy. The extranodal presentation in the absence of nodal involvement has been reported to have a predilection in the head and neck region with less than 20 cases involving the jaw bones and sinuses. We present an interesting case of unifocal RDD of the infratemporal space in the absence of nodal involvement in a 61-year-old female treated with surgical excision and adjuvant radiation therapy.
