The first-pass effect (FPE), defined as complete revascularization after a single thrombectomy pass in large vessel occlusion, is a predictor of good prognosis in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) receiving mechanical thrombectomy (MT). We aimed to evaluate obesity-related indicators if possible be predictors of FPE. We consecutively enrolled patients with AIS who were treated with MT between January 2019 and December 2021 at our institution. Baseline characteristics, procedure-related data, and laboratory test results were retrospectively analyzed.
