摘要
The control of tomato grey mould relies mainly on chemical fungicides, which can easily cause pesticide residue and environmental pollution. Therefore, a new fungicide for the control of tomato grey mould is urgently needed. Ginsenosides have been shown to inhibit the growth of diseases and are safe and nontoxic. Thus, the aim of this study was to reveal the antifungal mechanism and effect of ginsenosides against Botrytis cinerea and to provide a theoretical basis for the development of plant-based ginsenoside pesticides. Transcriptome sequencing confirmed that ginsenosides had significant inhibitory effect on B. cinerea. Ginsenoside may inhibit the growth of B. cinerea by decreasing the stability of the cell membrane or cell wall, and B. cinerea may respond to the stress caused by ginsenosides by increasing ergosterol synthesis and ABC transporter expression.
