摘要
An all dielectric metamaterial sensor with smooth spectral lines resonance characteristics over a large frequency range is demonstrated and verified. The average transmittance and reflectance of the metamaterial sample are 0.734 and 0.201 in the frequency range of 4-30THz. The effects of three important factors on the thermal conductivity of the outdoor clothing fabric samples are measured by using this metamaterial sensor: thickness, ambient temperature, and fabric type. The thermal diffusion coefficient of the fabric samples is decreased with the thickness increasing, which is enhanced by increasing the temperature. In addition, due to differences in preparation processes and materials, the type of fabric sample can also directly affect the thermal conductivity performance. The measurement results verify the feasibility of the metamaterial sensor to measure the thermal conductivity of outdoor clothing fabric samples.
