Distributed Predefined-Time Economic Dispatching for Microgrids

Along with the promotion and application of new energy, the widespread access of distributed power makes the structure of microgrid complex and changeable. The centralized optimization method is no longer available for solving the problem of economic dispatching due to its operation mode and nature. In this paper, a distributed optimization method is designed to solve the economic dispatching problem of microgrid by applying the predefined-time consensus-based algorithm in multi-agent system, where the micro increment of generator set cost is taken as consensus variable. This algorithm can directly set an upper bound of optimal time, so that the power output of all generators in the grid can be controlled cooperatively within a specified time. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by simulation and analysis.
