摘要
•Dynamic behavior of biological droplets on surface heated over 100℃ is studied.•Formation details and underlying mechanisms of plasma coagulation are first revealed.•Superhydrophobic surfaces with Cassie-Baxter state can reduce Leidenfrost point.•Heat transfer mechanisms of all investigated surfaces are explained.
