Optimization Model for Large Capacity Offshore Wind Farm Cluster Transmission Based on Variational Modal Decomposition Method

Following the concept of unified planning and intensive transmission, promoting the large-scale development of offshore wind power clusters can help reduce the project construction cost and promote the efficient utilization of marine resources. This article proposes an optimization model for the transmission of large capacity offshore wind power clusters, and obtains the optimal cluster grouping method and transmission planning scheme coordinating economic, social, and technical benefits. Optimization scheme is modified based on the variational modal decomposition method to handle the uncertainty of wind power. The effectiveness of this model is demonstrated by comparing the optimization results with conventional solutions.
