摘要
Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) systems have emerged as an efficient alternative providing a unique response that leverages the best of both the communication and radar worlds to enable applications such as sensing-assisted communication, simultaneous imaging, mapping, localization, and high accuracy positioning, among others. Based on the fact that the channel correlation can be used to jointly optimize the transmission and reception of signals in both systems, resulting in improved spectral efficiency, reduced interference, and improved target sensing and tracking capabilities. In this work, the angular channel correlation for ISAC systems in Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) and Vehicle-to- Vehicle (V2V) scenarios and for urban and highway environments is studied through ray-tracing simulations in realistic scenarios. Evaluations have shown a higher angular correlation between sensing and communication channels in more crowded scenarios such as urban environments compared to open space environments.
