A Millimeter DRA Array with Integrated Design for Mobile Communication

摘要
This paper presents an integrated design of millimeter-wave dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) array for mobile communication, which has the superiorities of cost-effective fabrication, high robustness and large radiation coverage. On one hand, an integrated design of the millimeter-wave DRA array is carried out to mitigate the cost and error in the fabrication and assembling. On the other hand, to satisfy the requirements of large coverage of mobile communication, the designed 16-element DRA array has a beam scanning performance at the H-plane with a coverage of ± 60° and the one-dimensional array has been further extended to a three-dimensional structure to realize a $\pm 150^{\circ} -$coverage at E-plane by switching feeds.
