摘要
A key challenge for designing Fabry-Perot (FP) cavity antennas lies in designing a Partially Reflective Surface (PRS) with high reflection magnitude and a desirable positive phase gradient. This research explores and assesses various PRS unit cell designs for FP cavity antennas: (i) square pixelated, (ii) hexagonal pixelated, (iii) chaos formula, and (iv) super formula configurations. Subsequently, the Genetic Algorithm is utilized to determine the most suitable unit cell for each configuration within the 5 GHz-9 GHz frequency range. The optimization shows that different geometrical representations can yield PRS unit cells with various performances.
