Driver Steering Intention Prediction Based on Fusion of EEG and Eye Movement Signals

With the development of intelligent driver assistance systems, the need to anticipate the driver's intentions earlier becomes urgent. Among them, steering serves as a common driver operation. In order to make the intelligent driver assistance system effective, a driver steering intention detection method is proposed. In this paper, three scenarios of driving steering experiments are designed to compare the effect of driver steering intention classification based on the fusion of EEG and eye-movement signals under two different fusion strategies, and the feasibility of driver steering intention detection based on the fusion of EEG and eye-movement signals at the data layer is verified.
