摘要
Life expectancy is a measure of the average number of years a person is expected to live, influenced by various factors such as lifestyle, healthcare access, diet, economic status, and mortality data. As of 2023, the current life expectancy for Bangladesh is 73.57 years, representing a 0.39% increase from the previous year. To increase life expectancy, it is important to study the factors that affecting it. Therefore, we used spearman correlation coefficient to analyze the reasons affecting the life expectancy and used multiple linear regression (MLR) models to predict the life expectancy of Bangladesh. In this work, we considered regression model for 10 major factors, such as GDP, disease, school index, etc. and designed two multiple linear regression (MLR) models. The result show that schooling index, income and thinness are considerable factors affecting the life expectancy in Bangladesh. The root mean squared error (RMSE) of the selected MLR is 1.715 obtained after analysis. The proposed research aims to increase awareness of the impact of these factors on life expectancy, utilizing machine learning techniques and python for life expectancy analysis in Bangladesh.
