摘要
The use of sport to achieve broader social objectives has become popular in recent years to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The academic community has highlighted the need to identify and empirically verify the contribution of sport to human development within groups at social risk. Most work has focused on geographic regions - Africa, Asia, Oceania and Europe - although in Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain it has been used as a catalyst, there is still limited understanding of its use among the general community. The purpose of this study is to describe the perspective of the managers of two youth organizations that use sport as a vehicle for community development and social inclusion in Colombia. The ethnographic approach study uses semi-structured interviews to determine the managers' reasons for intervening using sport as a vehicle for transformation and social inclusion. The conclusions show that football promotes social integration; Those involved improve their ability to work as a team and form a sense of community belonging. Future research may include describing the impact on children, youth, and parents because of a community sports program.
