摘要
Previous studies have primarily focused on the mechanical attributes and deformation traits of CoCrFeMnNi alloys, and in-depth studies on the microsegregation and homogenization behaviors of this alloy are lacking. Therefore, we investigated the microstructure and microsegregation behavior of an as -solidified CoCrFeMnNi alloy. Segregation profiles were obtained by sorting electron probe microanalyzer (EPMA) data using weighted interval rank sorting (WIRS). Applying WIRS to examine the solidification segregation of the CoCrFeMnNi alloy revealed that Co, Cr, and Fe predominantly segregated within the dendritic cores. Furthermore, the segregation profiles computed via the Clyne-Kurz model closely matched the WIRS experimental data. These profiles were subsequently integrated into the DICTRA kinetic modeling software to delve deeper into the homogenization behavior of the alloy. DICTRA predicted the homogenization parameters of the CoCrFeMnNi alloy, which were experimentally validated using a real heat -treated sample. Overall, the DICTRA prediction aligned with the microscopy observations, suggesting its efficacy in determining optimal homogenization conditions for singlephase materials exhibiting dendritic segregations.
