摘要
This paper examines the impact of decentralized Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy trading on the power loss occurring in the active distribution network and presents potential solutions for the Distribution System Operator (DSO) to reduce the power loss in the presence of P2P energy trading. An Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm and backward/forward sweep power flow-based framework is presented to optimally reconfigure the distribution network and minimize the impact of P2P energy trading on power loss. The presented framework is then augmented with the voltage sensitivity indices to determine the placement and sizing of the switched capacitor bank, which helps further to minimize the power loss in the network. An effective coordinated approach combining network reconfiguration and switched capacitor bank placement is developed to diminish the power loss while respecting the network constraints. The developed framework is tested on the IEEE 33-bus radial distribution network, and a comparative analysis is presented to showcase the effectiveness of the presented mitigation techniques in reducing power loss and associated economic and environmental impact. Results show that by adopting the network reconfiguration and the switched capacitor bank placement simultaneously, the DSO can achieve a power loss reduction of around 55% in the presence of P2P energy trading.
