Multi-stakeholder behavior analysis of shared energy storage market based on evolutionary game

Shared energy storage (SES) model as an emerging business model having significant contributions to enhancing energy storage (ES) utilization efficiency, renewable energy consumption and improving the stability of power grid operation. Among them, the distributed SES model usually involves different stakeholders including the energy storage providers (ESPs), the SES operator and energy storage users (ESUs). To analyze how the participation degree tendency evolves over time, an evolutionary game approach is proposed that takes into account the bounded-rationality of participants. The stability of equilibrium points in the above models is proven. The equilibrium stability of the system under different game situations and its influencing factors are discussed. Furthermore, the dynamic behavior characteristics of the SES operator are analyzed. Simulations have been utilized to investigate the asymptotic stability of different evolutionary stabilization strategies. The results confirm the efficacy of the proposed model. Finally, the implications of the different SES service price, ESPs sharing profit coefficient, the self-use benefit function coefficients and initial state of SES market participations behavior are explored.
