Energy Consumption Analysis of a Network of Sensors and Energy Consumption Optimization Methods

The correct functioning of the circuits depends on the energy consumption, but nevertheless it is essential that this consumption be reduced as much as possible, but not to values that can affect the functionality and performance of these electronic circuits. Currently, methods of saving energy consumption is an active field of research and there are different methods by which power can be reduced in circuits, even from the design level. In this work, the energy consumption of a development board set in different operating modes is analyzed with the help of the KWS-v20 tester. Even if energy saving methods exist, we must also analyze whether they are sufficient by determining consumption values. Sensors for monitoring the various parameters that are to be analyzed in a sensor network are energy consumers and therefore saving energy consumption is very important for the correct and long-term operation of this sensor network.
