Analysis of the Electrical Energy Quality and Stability of the Complementary Wind-Water Power Generation System

In this article, the impact of the electrical energy quality and stability of the complementary wind-water power generation system on the grid was explored through establishing a mathematical model and simulation analysis. The dual-fed wind turbine generator and water turbine generator with complementary wind-water power generation system, as well as the mathematical model of the wind-water complementary power generation system based on IEEE9 power system, were established. The simulation was used to study the impact of the wind-water complementary power generation system on the quality and stability of electrical energy. And the results indicate that the capacity ratio and load fluctuation of wind power generation and hydroelectric power generation have an impact on the voltage and frequency of the power grid.
