Parameters Identification of Induction Motor Using the Slime Mould Algorithm

摘要
This research work focuses on estimating the parameters of an induction motor (IM) using recent algorithm: The slime mould algorithm (SMA). The SMA algorithm shows the stability of this algorithm to search large areas with a high accuracy. Compared to the particle swarm optimization (PSO), the simulation results indicate that the performance of SMA in terms of both accuracy and convergence speed makes it the algorithm of choice for estimating IM parameters.
