Abstract
To overcome large frequency offset without the extra pilot overhead, we propose a Hamming code based anti-frequency offset mapping scheme for LoRa modulation system, where a new mapping rule between the Hamming codewords and the modulation symbols is designed. Furthermore, a novel detection strategy is introduced based on the mapping scheme. Specifically, the received symbol is estimated by considering the values of two adjacent samples in frequency domain. Simulation results show that the Hamming coded LoRa system with the proposed mapping scheme performs much better than the traditional scheme in the presence of large frequency offset, and achieves a good tradeoff between the error performance and the ability of anti-frequency offset.
